Early December I was getting ready to start the Christmas to Easter Blog and was picking bible verses ahead of time. I created a spread sheet and would put bible verses in slots as they would come to me. On the 6th of December I got one of my daily bible verses from Tyndale House Publishers who put out the New Living Translation. Here is a picture of the email.

I liked the verse and added the bible verse to the spreadsheet to today’s date. There were no other bible verses around it just the one on January 1st about new beginnings. At times you never know why you do things until God lifts the veil for us to see. This was totally a God thing and for those who follow our blog that do not go to Sunridge, our lead pastor left un-expectantly and lots of people are hurt. Today was the first week without him. Coincidence? I don’t believe in coincidence, just God’s timing.
I love the commentary added in the email, "The task of the church leaders is to help people mature in Christ. Cooperative followers greatly ease the burden of leadership.... Does your conduct give your leaders reason to report joyfully about you?" I couldn't say it better myself.
My prayer- “Lord I know you are my lead pastor, this is your church and that we all work for you. I pray that you use me and others to continue to build your church and spread Your word. I pray that you ease the minds of those hurting with the news of our pastor leaving. I pray we continue to move on and not let this be a barrier between us and your perfect love.”
